WordPress to Twitter Plugin

The Twitter Updater automatically sends a Twitter status update to your Twitter account when you create, publish, or edit your WordPress post. You can specify the text for the updates, and also have the option to turn the auto update on/off for the different post actions in the admin panel.

The plugin could not be easier to install. Upload the plugin to your plugins directory (under wp-content). Then login to your Wordpress install and activate it.

The settings are not where you would expect, click on manage and to the very right of the options you will discover the Twitter control panel. You can select to Tweet new posts as well as post updates and you deactivate either option. We personally opt to just tweet new posts.

Revolution Pro Media 3

This theme is structured towards media and has a very diverse homepage - including a place for featured tabs, video, photos, thumbnail images and more.

One of the biggest changes is the theme options page, which now is built using textareas. This will open up the possibilities and flexibility for those who want to use custom AdSense code, embedded video code other than YouTube, etc.

Some of the changes that have been included are:

All 3 sidebar areas are widget-ready
Theme options page inside WP dashboard
Comments section coded for Gravatars
Google AdSense integration in between posts and comments
Archive & Blog page templates

Because Brian made quite a few changes to the code within the theme files while updating the theme, I suggest using the 3.0 version from scratch.

We have used the Pro Media Theme and find it to be very customisable. Flickr integration comes as standard.
